How can people get in contact with you?
1. Can you tell us your name and where you are from?
My name is Lea and I’m from Washington, D.C. The next question that usually follows is “What part?” I say “My Momma!” LOL. I was born in Northwest, Uptown. Brought up around Trinidad, Northeast. Lived in Cappers, Southeast. I went to middle school in Southwest. I don’t like to claim certain sections or areas because I’m loved ALL over D.C.
2. What business are you in and how do you balance this with modeling and your family?
I currently work for a government agency that shall remain nameless but I am a future entrepreneur. My focus is on securing the bag from my current job while working on my goals and dreams. My goals include me owning several businesses and becoming a swimsuit/ fitness model. It’s tiring but I have to do it. No one else is going to accomplish my dreams for me. Balancing is easy for me because I like to do things on a set schedule when I know that I have to refocus my energy. When your mind is on your future, YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN!
3. What’s on your music playlist?
I got a little bit of everything on my playlist. I love listening to 90s music and instrumentals but I have just about everyone on my playlist. One of my playlist includes London Dior, Kiyanne, Rihanna (LOVE ME SOME RI RI), Fabolous, Migos, Ciara, Yo Gotti, Teena Marie, and Michael Jackson. I love music; especially if I can move to it. I love to dance. One of my nicknames is “Lil Ciara.”
4. How important is it to you that you are respected for your talent and work ethic?
“It is very important for me to be respected for my work ethic. I’ve really work hard for everything that I have. Nothing was handed to me. I had to earn everything I have. People see me and automatically think everything good for me. No, it never was good for me. I’ve been working since I would work. I worked 2 jobs and 1 I nternship throughout college. I made the best out of my situations. I have so many moments where I reflect on my life and thank God for allowing me to have a 2nd chance at life. That’s when I knew I needed to get on my P&Q’s and handle my business. 1 thing about me I’M ABOUT MY BUSINESS!” I take business extremely serious. I am a different person when it comes to handling business. So respect is something I have earned.
5. How can people find you on social media?
I ONLY have 2 pages on Instagram. NO TWITTER! You can find my model page @shesnotliketheothers . My personal page is @imjustme258 . My personal page is where I just repost funny and inspirational memes. I’ll have some business pages up and running in a month. I love making people feel better and laugh. I’m always told that I should make a snapchat…So I’m going to make that happen very soon!!

6. What is your definition of a hustler?
My definition of a hustler is someone who can make something out of nothing. A hustler is B.O.S.S (Built ON Self Success). A hustler can make cheese and crackers into a 4 course meal. A hustler provides! Hustlers make big moves with little noise. Hustlers do more than secure the bag. Hustlers take care of home and business while making more currency.
7. What do you want to see changed your community?
So much has to be changed about my community; ABOUT MY PEOPLE!! We are losing our lives by the hands of police, each other, and other races. WHEN WILL IT STOP! WE HAVE TO MAKE THAT CHANGE!! We are losing family members in crazy freak accidents. We have thousands of people missing. If we want change WE NEED TO APPLY PRESSURE AND SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT WE BELIEVE IN! Stand up! I can’t tell anyone to believe in what I believe in but whatever you do believe in, YOU NEED TO SUPPORT IT!
8. What goals are you working on?
First off, I have to apologize because I have been working on my goals so much that I almost missed an opportunity DaFrontPorch presented to me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your movement. I support!! I have been working on scheduling all my shoots for July. I had to take a break because so many tragic things were happening at the time when I started back modeling. I lost a few family members and went through a bad break up. Losing my family members made me realized that I have to accomplish all my goals NOW before it’s too late. I have been working on my 1st logo “No Bluffing”; you can check it out on any one of my pages. It is an urban clothing line, but I am working on a fitness line. I have sooo much going on so just wait on it!! I have a few business ventures that will be launching hopefully before July 2018. If you are interested in knowing those ventures check out my pages. I keep my business ventures quiet and private until it’s time to launch. I don’t like to disappoint!
9. Any shoutouts?
First I want to thank DaFrontPorch for the opportunity. Shoutout to the Man Above, for the blessings! Shoutout to my momma bear and my love buckets, 2 of the most important women in my life. Shoutout to all my friends, family, and supporters!! Thank you all for believing in me, buying gear, supporting my dreams, and motivating me.
10. What is your definition of sexy?
My definition of sexy is a person who can turn heads no matter what they may look like or what clothing they wear. When a female feels sexy, it’s nothing you can tell her! She walks with her head high, never letting her crown slip or heel stick! Her walk is filled with confidence and when you look at her, her smile is the biggest ever. A sexy person can go anywhere they want because it’s their path to walk.
Briana Bullard also known as Red Velvet was raised on the tough streets of Miami, Florida. She is the most fascinating, boring creature you will ever meet.
The creamy skin toned 5’3 curvy Puerto Rican has seen hard times throughout her life. Her commitment to pushing forward in life and motivating other young women to reach their goals has allowed Red Velvet to choose not to quit.
Red Velvet’s mother battled with a crack cocaine addiction, which led to Red Velvet being given up from birth. Her life has been one that would have broken most young girls, but not Red Velvet. In her life, Red Velvet was forced to experience physical abuse and mental abuse. All that she wondered in the back of her lonely mind was why her, why did she have endured the pain of her unfair situation.
At the age of 18, Red Velvet made a choice. Her choice was that if she wanted better, she would have to better. Today, Red Velvet is an aspiring model with dreams of becoming a highly favored and respected model for her looks, attitude and addiction to being better. She would like to have the opportunity to work as a video vixen, actress, a host and as a model entrepreneur.

What are some of your hobbies or fun things that you do outside of modeling? Outside of modeling I enjoy traveling, reading and enjoying time with my family.
What would you say is your best feature and why? I would say my best feature is my smile. I don’t do it often because I tend to have the ‘Resting bitch face’ Lol but when I smile, it brightens up the room. Well that’s what I’m often told. Lol
