[Featured Artist] Boonie The Kid

Straight Official Sits Down With Boonie The Kid

1.What is your Name? where you’re from and what first got you interested in the entertainment industry?

Peace! My name is Boonie the Kid & I’m a national recording hip hop artist representing the Homewood section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! We on the map! You feel me!! What got me interested in the entertainment industry is my love for music & the fact that I can make money doing what I love!! Can’t beat that!!

2. Who and/or what inspires you to create?  You know what Lol?

That’s kind of a complex question & answer?? I love to create music!! All kinds of entertainments inspire me to create! More hip hop than anything though! Mostly the greats like Jay Z & Nas. But anybody has the tendency to inspire me in some kinda way! I can look at somebody rich who don’t even rap & get inspired! I can look at a commercial & get inspired? I guess in a nutshell money & the good life inspires me!!??

3. How would you describe your sound?

I would describe my sound as versatile. It took me to listen to & study many rappers over the years to become who I am & develop the sound I have! I can bring it to you anyway, any style! Old or new??!! I’m just that talented!! All it takes is a beat & an open mind. I’ll get it done no matter what!!

4. What is your creative process like?

My creative process is to listen to a beat, hear what the producer’s input is, relax, feel the vibe, study the sounds in the beat, & decide what I’m going to do to the beat! That’s it!! I’ll play with some ideas also. Then put 2 & 2 together!

5. What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with?

What artist I would like to work with honestly…?? Awww man… honestly? Jay Z, Nas, … just to name only a couple. The list goes on & on!
There’s a couple of newer guys I  wouldn’t mind working with like some of those midwest dudes also?

6. What is one message you would give to your supporters?

I would say thanks for supporting me, liking the music, showing love & being supportive!! It means the world to me!! Not too many rappers get fans like y’all!! Real talk!!

7. What is the most talent/skill you have that most people don’t know about?

The most important talent or skill I have I would say is my ear for music! I can hear sounds & other things most people can’t. Like instruments, words, imperfections in vocals, breath control, how bars should have ended, how to write a verse, etc.

8. What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music?

If I wasn’t in music business I would be a business & real estate owner. I have a knack for getting money, being a good business man & making a profit. I get a rush from doing the 3 altogether! That’s just me to be honest!

9. Who are some artists/people you admire and why?

I admire anybody who is a music mogul, business tycoon or trendsetting entrepreneur!! There’s not one or 2 people in particular. I’ll take notes from, study, take advice or observe anybody whose successful whether in the streets or legit business it don’t matter!?? I just love weath!

10. What is the best advice you’ve been given?

The best advice I have been given was from street hustlers & that was to be & stay consistent, keep grinding, keep my foot on the gas & focus on doing me. I learned over the years it applies to all forms of business? A lot of them told & showed me this without even actually telling me those words! Lol I’m just the type to pay close attention & study people!

11. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I would change the way that record labels be jerking artist!! They feed off people’s lack of knowledge & business knowledge & experience!! Smh They feed on people’s desperation to be rich & famous or the fact that they just want to create music! I plan on being one of the record label owners to change that by paying artist more money, etc.

12. What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year?

What’s next for me is I would like to run a successful record label & have multiple successful artist signed to my label as well as branch off into so many other business ventures like, films, plays, clothes, books, management of different kinds, wine, etc. just to name a few things.

13. What is your social media? How can people get in contact with you?

[New Video] Inas X – Honey | @InasX

Inas X – Honey (Official Video)

Inas X is here to declare her place in the music industry. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York but now calling Los Angeles home, real name Inas Maale traded her given last name for a bold “X,” representing empowerment, independence, and perseverance. Coming from humble beginnings as an intern at a major label, the singer-songwriter quickly found her calling and continues to make music out of pure love and passion. Now, she returns to unleash the official music video for “Honey,” premiered exclusively on YouTube and directed by Nimi Hendrix. The new record unveils a side of the Middle Eastern goddess that fans have yet to see, showcasing growth, maturity, and of course, that bad bitch mentality we all can appreciate. “Honey” is a sexy, empowering song you put on when you want to feel good about yourself, reminding the masses to get to their bag by all means necessary. Speaking on the new release, Inas states, “I made it at a time where I felt like you know what, I got my own bread (my own money)! I got it on my own! It’s for you if you’re feeling independent and focused on getting to your money, expanding your wealth and health. ‘Honey’ is so sweet, we need ‘Honey’ and nature needs the bees to survive. The Divine Feminine is like ‘Honey’ too!” Women are so often compared to “Honey” because they look and taste so sweet. Watch above and remember: show me the money, honey!
