The Quest Chronicles: Time to Reset Everyday has something to offer. It may be a raise at your job, a special outing or even an unwelcoming headache. That’s how unpredictable life is. Everyday is it’s own unique rollercoaster. It’s all about how you handle it.

When I wake up, I make it my business to reset. Sometimes by the end of the day, I may feel overwhelmed and stressed out so I allow myself the chance to regroup the next morning. The past is the past even if it’s a few hours ago.

Do whatever you have to do to motivate yourself. Treat everyday as if it’s new years. New year, new me, or New day, and it’ll be ok. Cheesy but you get the picture. Time to reset so what’s the new plan for today?

The Quest Chronicles: Bad Business Being an entrepreneur, I’ve been asked if I ever refused to work with certain clients.. The answer is yes. I don’t work for a company so I’m not forced to work with whomever comes through the door. Yes, I love to have clients, helping others and building my brand but at what cost?

All money is not good money. I’m not desperate enough to deal with anyone to make a quick dollar. Based on the way they operate; it’s not worth my time, energy nor peace. That’s why people have to be very mindful of who they work with. Some friendships and relationships have ended because of bad business transactions.

I’m a very patient and understanding business woman so that’s why many want to work with me. At the same time, just because I’m nice, I will not allow anyone to take advantage or try to pull a fast one on me. Don’t be so money hungry that you allow the customer who assumes they’re always right to walk all over you. You’re the boss so handle your business. Your brand is counting on you.

The Quest Chronicles: Small Adjustments: Everyday is a new day to figure out this thing we call life. We have our good days and our bad days. Let’s be real, sometimes the bad days feel like it overshadows the good ones. It could feel so stressful that trying to fix the bad days doesn’t seem realistic. It’s always one thing after another and you can’t catch a break.

Well that’s exactly what you need; a break. A moment to breathe, relax and re-structure. You don’t need to always make drastic changes in order to get positive results. Sometimes you just need to make a few small adjustments to get you started.

Go to sleep an hour early so you can have more rest. Take an hour to do research instead of scrolling on your phone. Grab a bottle of water instead of a bottle of soda. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Those small adjustments will make an improvement in your life before you know it. All you have to do is make the first small adjustment.

The Quest Chronicles: My Inner Peace As children we tend to automatically become friends with our siblings, cousins, neighborhood friends and classmates. As we grow older, we add on co-workers and social media friends. This is the life we are accustomed to and we tend to adapt.

You have to also remember that you are an adult. Yes, we may be related, go to the same school or work together but I do not owe you anything. It’s ok to outgrow your friends. People forget that they are an unique individual like no other. We have a connection but a disconnect at the same time.

I have the right to protect my inner peace and I am ok with putting up walls if I need to protect my inner peace. I don’t owe anyone anything. If we are not growing in the right direction outside of our initial connection that’s all it will ever be. I have to take care of ME first. My Inner peace is of value! Do you know your worth?

🌟 Let’s talk about the reality of standing up for yourself, knowing your worth, and setting those boundaries! 🌟
We’ve all been there giving our all to people we care about, only to have our efforts overlooked and our hearts bruised. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but today, I’m sharing a story with you, not to dwell on the past, but to celebrate the strength and clarity a strong woman has gained.

The Reality Check

People you love and would do anything for can sometimes be the first to point out your failures. It’s a harsh reality, especially when you’ve stood by them through thick and thin, even when they put you through some REAL STUFF! Yet, every time their call comes in, you answer, ready to help in any way you can. But when things go wrong, they project their anger onto you, blaming you for their own issues. They never stop to look in the mirror and see how they’ve failed you, how they’ve never truly been there for you.

Standing Strong

But guess what? I’m not letting them drag me back into that negative headspace I fought so hard to escape. I remind myself daily that while I may not be a perfect mother, I am a damn good provider! People might try to hit below the belt, but I refuse to stoop to their level. I’ve grown beyond that. That’s my reality.

The Power of Truth

When people know your struggles, they sometimes use that knowledge to hurt you. No matter the real reason you leave a situation, they’ll concoct their own theories because the truth stings. I thought I had a friend after everything we’d been through, but today, I see things differently. I’ve learned my lesson.

Moving Forward

From this day forward, I’m done being the nice guy in situations that don’t deserve my kindness. My heart has always led me to be compassionate, but now, it’s time for a change. Everything from now on is STRAIGHT BUSINESS or NOTHING AT ALL. A person liking me doesn’t pay the bills around here! ✌🏾

This story has taught me the importance of self-respect and boundaries. It’s okay to prioritize yourself and your well-being. It’s okay to demand respect and to walk away from those who don’t value you. Let’s keep moving forward with strength, clarity, and a whole lot of self-love.

In an interview with Miss Unique, owner Ahmed Moggali shared the challenges in bringing his vision of The Castle to life. “It was hard for me to get this Castle done because everybody let me down” explained Ahmed. “I felt that because I was young, nobody believed in my vision. But I worked hard and even sacrificed, selling my home overseas to bring enough money to make this dream a reality.”

Ahmed’s dedication and perseverance is truly inspiring. Despite obstacles, he remains committed to finishing the project. “All I need right now to finish this project… is for customers to keep coming and shopping with us,” he said. The Castle will also feature a meat market, fresh vegetables, and groceries, providing another shopping option besides Walmart.

For 9 to 5ers, the weekends are our time off but usually filled with running errands. If you work in the entertainment industry like myself; it’s usually filled with gigs. The question is, now what?

Many of us complain about working too much and being underpaid but now what? Are you doing anything about it? How are you using your spare time? Playing the blame game will get you nowhere. Being stagnant in your life is unhealthy so now what?

It’s time to put yourself on your schedule. Reevaluate some things, make a few sacrifices and change your life. What’s the new plan? What’s the new goals? What new adjustments are you willing to make to better your life? You owe it to yourself!

The Quest Chronicles: No Title Needed In the world that we live in, positions and ranks are very important. Everyone has a role, certain people are at a higher level of education, etc. In the medical , corporate offices, and even down to your local organizations.

Now let’s be real, in many situations a lot of people allow their title to get to their heads. They use those privileges and powers for evil. Which is not cool but it happens. In other cases, people allow “not having” a title to hold them up.

I need you to realize that just because you don’t have a certain title doesn’t mean you can push yourself. You can still help, be the best and elevate. If you have ideas, let it be known. If you want to do additional research to help out the team’s project; by all means do it. Don’t allow people to walk all over you or abuse your kindness but find a way to balance it.

Be the great person that you are. Let your talent speak for itself. A title is not needed when you’re naturally awesome. Just do you because trust me; they’re watching

The Quest Chronicles: Please Be Aware Recently I attended The 13th Annual Fleet Dj’s Music Conference. I had a wonderful time like I do every year. It was great to see my fellow DJs, artists, producers, models, etc. This is the time of the year we get together, take pictures, network and rock out. There’s a lot of mingling, talking, dancing and so much more.

Events like this I take advantage of to the fullest. I make time to talk to as many people as I can, especially the ones who look forward to seeing me in person.I network as much as I can. I made the investment by attending the conference. Paying for hotel, gas in the vehicle, food, marketing materiaL, etc so I make sure I get my money’s worth!

I encourage all attendees to have fun but remember to handle business as well. With that being said, we have no choice but to be in each other’s face. This is where the issue comes in. A weekend filled with hundreds of people in close proximity. So, I’m never shocked that after the weekend; people become sick with Corona, sore throats, etc.

Whether you believe it or not Corona is still here and active. People are catching it and dying from it all the time. Please continue to social distance as much as you can. It’s ok to go outside with your mask if need be. Just like any other sickness, you have to protect yourself. Please wash your hands and take care of yourself and be mindful of others around you.
