Let’s talk about Krazy Obilla. I got a call from a good friend, DJ Jaime O, and he told me “Sunflower, he’s the one.” I take heed to what my good friends say, and I either go with it, or I don’t. The first time that I heard “Rob Atlanta,” I was with it. I knew that it would be controversial, and it would rub some the wrong way, but I couldn’t deny, that joint was jammin’. Obilla has a similar story to artists that we listen to today. Music, prison, streets, music, and they are doing everything they can to make their music jump.

Krazy Obilla has made appearances at SXSW as well as many other popular festivals. Tracks such as “The Situation” and “Rob Atlanta” are the most famous tracks with “Rob Atlanta” actually propelling him to new heights. From #7 hits on iHeart Radio to BET appearances, to performances with guys such as DMX, 21 Savage, and Fetty Wap, this versatile threat is sure to remain a staple in the game for a long time.

SO: Can you tell us a little about yourself? What’s your name and where you’re from?

KO: I’m from Orangeburg SC and you know me as Krazy Obilla the dude that got the hottest song out called “Rob Atlanta”. I’m with Wood Wurk ENT, Wealth Nation Ent., And I Own Aww HeLL Music Cartel. I come from a fucked up world that a lot people could relate to.. I take the bad life and make good music out it. The state of SC support me.

SO: Let us know what your social media and how can we find you…

KO: Aww man I’m everywhere . Find me on Instagram @krazy_obilla_ , Twitter @krazy_obilla , soundcloud @krazy Obilla , and you can check out the official website @ Make sure you join my email list.

SO: How did you first get involved with rapping?

KO: My family was in this industry.. I wrote my first 300 songs on a hundred day lockdown in Prision. I was in a lot of pain and the only thing could explain myself to was the pin and pad. I didn’t even knew I could rap. When I came home, I got with all the right people

SO: What do you find the most challenging about the music industry?

KO: Finding loyal people

SO: Tell me about some of the people you’ve met while performing?

KO: I met a lot of celebrities because I did shows with a lot of them but ain’t no need to mention them, they had no affect on my career..but  Outside of the stage during the grind, I built relationships with many major people..

SO: How do you keep coming up with dope rhymes?

KO: My music come from a special place somewhere inside of me. My delivery come from God. I don’t control what I write. I let the fire that’s burning inside of me from all the emotions come out. That’s where that fire music come from

SO: Now, I have heard and I’m currently playing “Rob Atlanta,” what was your inspiration for that particular song?

KO: The song “Rob Atlanta” is a metaphor. When someone mention the city of Atlanta, you automatically think of music. When I say Atlanta , I’m talking about music. I have many reasons for writing that song tho. Most people run to Atlanta thinking that they gonna get on. I was different, I went against the grain. I created Rob Atlanta so Atlanta can come to me

SO: I know you have a few more singles you want to drop on us, but what I’ve heard from DJ Jaime O, you’re going to drop an EP. What can we expect from that?

KO: You can expect the same affect you got from “Rob Atlanta” . I’m not a one hit wonder. I got another single called “Shower on Her” it’s more like exotic strip club music and I’m working on a trilogy/story called Pablo Story.

SO: Do you have anyone that has influenced you in your career? Who and Why?

KO: I gotta give it to the people that had my back from the bottom. These people motivated me to keep pushing. some of them step in the mud with me. They deserve my respect.

SO: Where do you see yourself in the next couple of years?

KO: I see myself in greater position than I am today

SO:  Is the anyone you would like to give a shoutout to?

KO: S/o DJ Jaime O , Wood Work, Rready, Demetrius Hart, DJ Scipio, DJ Cool Kev, DJ Vip, DJ Stroke, Dj SunFlower, DjSkorp, DJ Del, DJ Dirty, DJ Blord, Dj Weezy, DJ Flock, DJ Zel, Rolla, Black Pablo, Curtis Nimoms, Skitzo, DJ Lpeezy, Mista Taylor, DJ Swampizzo, All my social media Fans, A Money, Los, and R.I.P Theo

I went to Twitter and saw that he already had him one following, and they were calling him “wavy!’ I began dropping him in my mixtapes, and I had to start with “F@#k That Ni66a.” At the time it fit right in and felt so right so I continued my ride with T.
