Nike Air Force II

Earlier this week we previewed two colorways in the Nike Air Force II Lows, and now we have pictures of a high top pair which Nike has released to select accounts.

This time around, the shoes feature a subtle look, consisting of cool grey nubuck on the toe, while dark grey leather graces the side panels. Club purple accents help contrast the other hues, and are visible on the Nike swoosh and outsole. Finishing off the design is black, which is seen mostly at the back end. Look for them now at select accounts including JD Sports.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88

On February 6, the most anticipated pair of sneakers in recent memory will release on the 25th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s victory over Dominique Wilkins in the 1988 Slam Dunk contest. After weeks of speculation as to who would get it and when it would come and how much it would be, only one question remains: will you buy it?

Now before you say, “of course I’m going to buy it, what the hell is wrong with you?,” this is far from your regular ‘ol super hyped release. Unless they’ve finally figured out that time travel feature on the Nike Air MAG, this is as close as most of us are going to get to having these classics in their (near) original form without resorting to paying obscene amounts of money for a real OG pair.

So here is a handy guide for you to consider before making your purchase. The reality is only a small number of you are actually going to have an opportunity to buy it, what with the millions of people who will be on their computers, smartphones and tablets waiting for that elusive tweet to drop on Nike Store.

Nike.com, Eastbay and Finish Line are the only confirmed places (so far) that will carry them.
It will be available online-only on February 6 for $200.00 a pair.
The Nike Store Twitter account will post a tweet with the link at approximately 4:51 PM EST.
Finish Line will announce their plans for their online-only release on Wednesday at the request of Nike.
There are no announced plans for a retail release. Yet.
There will be GS sizes for $125.00 a pair.
Foot Locker is not confirming or denying they will get a pair, but people should keep an eye on their Facebook and Twitter feed for more information.
UPDATE: Nike is tweeting that “time will be determined” even as the calendar still has the 4:51 PM EST Time.
UPDATE: Nike Store Europe will launch the shoes in March.
UPDATE: Eastbay has taken down the link.
