$400K JEWELRY STOLEN FROM YG’S HOTEL ROOM

According to TMZ,  YG filed a police report on Monday, claiming that someone took over $400K worth of jewels from his hotel room at The London in WeHo. The problem is that the theft allegedly happened almost a week ago.

Sources say between 11PM NYE and  11 AM New Year’s Day, a briefcase which was left on top of the safe in the room, had been relieved of several expensive pieces of jewelry. It was noticed by the rapper on January 1st but didn’t file the police report until January 6.

There are no suspects or leads in the case, especially since YG’s hotel room was a revolving door on New Year’s Eve. Detectives are reportedly looking into surveillance footage on the floor of YG’s room, which hopefully will lead them to some clues.

Black Wall Street Reincarnated|New Black Enterprise

Why was Black Wall Street so important?

The financial plight of the African American community has been well documented and dissected.  The real question that has  surfaced since Dr.King’s assassination is what will the community do about it?  We know that marching in the streets and Black Wall Street Reincarnatedsinging glorious hymns have not made much traction in the progress for economic stability.  The wealth gap for African Americans has actually increased in that time frame only causing further damage to our communities.  The Black Wall Street of the early 1900’s has long been burned down, but still no such pillars are present in predominantly black areas.  A much needed revitalization of black america has been needed.  The concept is built around the concentrated effort of recirculating black dollars within the community.  The black dollar is crucial for cultivating community programs and facilitating the growth of black enterprise.

How do we reincarnate Black Wall Street?

The answer is simple as it was given to us by none other than one of our own Malcolm X .  He gave a speech called The Ballot or the Bullet where he explained the power of black spending. Our neighborhoods thrive when we buy black and fail when we do not.  The power of pooling the black dollar not only perpetuates generational wealth but gives us control over our own Black Wall Street Reincarnatedinfrastructures and institutions.  If everyone just invested and patronized more black owned businesses the effects would trickle down through generations, creating the equivalent of a reparations check owed to Black America.  The keyword “investment” means you now have ownership and dividends to be paid out.   The time has come where black enterprise rises across the nation and buying black is no longer taboo.

The revolution has begun!

The name Fubu2Infinity will soon become a staple of the black community for years to come.  This is an opportunity for the growth of  black enterprise that can benefit everyone in Black America.  The instructions are clear and simple. Black Wall Street Reincarnated Go to www.fubu2infinity.com and register to get more information.  The ball is in Black Americas court and the call to action has been sounded.  We will heal when we learn to love and support one another.  In order for a new Black Wall Street to thrive we must become the change we seek.

Kanye West speaks, suddenly people start listening

Kanye West speaks

What does it mean when Kanye West Speaks?

Apparently, when Kanye West speaks it’s the gospel (pun intended).  I am here in Dallas, Texas 4 hours away from Houston where Kanye West made an appearance in front of a full house at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church Sunday.  I reference the location because the people of Houston tried to get their hands on tickets via social media.  I’m vaguely aware that people give merit and weight to what Kanye says when he speaks. He unsurprisingly speaks quite often.  The last time I saw an article about Kanye he was blasting George Bush Jr., which I felt was warranted.

A decent amount of Kanye’s music is good but, I’ll admit I could toss out half the catalog as well.  I know he has said or done some things that may be offensive to some or controversial to others.  He is saying that he has given his life to Christ which is great news to me personally.  I have briefly and reluctantly  listened to his new album Jesus is King.  I’m not sure when people started to take what he said to heart but I know he is a polarizing figure. I actually dont receive any message from Kanye normally because I’m not listening,  but why are you?

What exactly is Kanye’s Message?

I know I’m listening because Kanye West spoke up about the media and entertainment industry putting subliminal imagery in their programs and targeting children.  He spoke about protecting ourselves and the minds of our children.  Although, I do not usually listen when Kanye West speaks I somehow heard and felt his message.

I see so many negative images and hear way too much negativity to know that it is being fed to us and many are eating it willingly.  I am posting a replay of the service so that you may interpret for yourself what you hear.  I’m not arguing about whether Kanye is a righteous or deceptive messenger. I’m focused on the message, and if Kanye West speaking gets you to receive it or using his name gets clicks to the message I’m guilty sue me.  I just want people, especially those of darker melanin to wake up and GET OUT!

PODCAST REMOVES T.I INTERVIEW [NEWS]

T.I Podcast

T.I has received major backlash for remarks he recently made on the Podcast “Ladies Like Us” regarding his 18 yr old Daughter’s visits to the Gynecologist.

The Atlanta rapper and entrepreneur stated he makes sure his daughter’s hymen “Isn’t broken” and went on to explain a time he went with her for a check up.

“So it’s this one time we go, I think this might have been after her 16th birthday,” he explained in audio captured by TMZ. “This is what we do… Usually, like the day after the [birthday] party, she’s enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: ‘Gyno. Tomorrow. 9:30.’ So we’ll go and sit down and the doctor will come and talk and the doctor’s maintaining a high level of professionalism.”

As a result, the women who conduct the podcast Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham have taken the episode down and issued an apology for not properly handling the situation.

“To everyone confused, angry and hurt by the recent episode of Ladies Like Us, we want to start off by saying that we sincerely apologize for our knee jerk reaction to the uncomfortable topic,” an Instagram post reads. “We were completely caught off guard/shocked and looking back, we should have reacted much differently in the moment.”

Mandi and Moham continued, “The comments that were made and the reaction that followed are not in any way a reflection of our personal views on the topic. We support and love Women and feel that their bodies are theirs to do as they wish. There was absolutely no ill intent towards any party involved & feel deeply awful about the entire incident.

“We are not perfect, take full accountability of our lack of action & are continuously learning along the way. We know an apology doesn’t make this go away but we welcome the discussion – that’s what our podcast is about.”

The rapper has yet to respond but social media is in an uproar calling him controlling and narcissistic, I’m sure he will be making a remark soon.

Walter Mercado, Astrologer for Millions of Latinos, Dies At 87

Walter Mercado, the astrologer who endeared himself to millions of Hispanic television viewers for more than three decades, died Saturday in Puerto Rico.

Sofía Luquis, a spokeswoman for the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital in San Juan, confirmed Mercado’s death with The Associated Press and said he died from kidney failure.

Mercado was well-known across Latin America and in the United States for his horoscope readings and predictions.

His career began by chance when he was asked to fill in for a Telemundo program in 1969.

Prior to becoming an iconic psychic, Mercado worked as an actor and dancer.

Mercado’s reading of the horoscope was a hit and in 1970 he began his regular broadcast segment reading horoscopes and offering predictions for Telemundo Puerto Rico.

The way in which Mercado delivered his predictions was just as beloved by his fans as the messages themselves. Mercado was a fan of grand colorful robes and outfits accented with gems and brooches that dazzled.

With his trilled “r’s” and dramatic readings, Mercado made an art form out of his work.

Speaking about his style with The Miami Herald, Mercado once said, “I have always liked to speak to people very directly. I have used astrology to send positive messages: ‘You can do it, even if you fall, get back up again.'”

His broadcasts reached an estimated 120 million Latino viewers daily for more than three decades.

Mercado’s flamboyant character stood out to much of what was being broadcasted across Latin America television at that time.

At the end of his program, Mercado would sign off by saying “Pero sobre todo, mucho, mucho, mucho amor,” or “Above all, much, much, much love.”
