Think It’s A Game: Trust InGiving

Flyy Ceo of Think It’s A game Independent label gives back majorly for his birthday this past October. He launched a 31 day give back. He did everything from buying groceries for elderly, helped a homeless family, improved a local urban ymca teen center named after him, and more. At the end of the 31 days they had a ceremony for him to recap his giving. Check out the recap here.

Kandi And Todd Cut the Ribbon with The Old Lady Gang

After a continuing successful year and going at 177 Peters Street, Atlanta Ga. Kandi and Todd decided to take the southern cuisine to the Camp Creek Marketplace in East Point, GA. They are calling it OLG2 the 2nd location of the Old Lady Gang brand. Check out this recap video at the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Camp Creek location.

[Events] Froribbean Festival Artist Showcase

The Fleet DJ’s of Georgia had an opportunity to attend the Froribbean Festival Artist Showcase at Opium in Midtown Atlanta. The showcase attracted Dancehall, Reggae, and Soca artists as well as one R&B perfromance from a young songstress with a large voice. The artists had a chance to perform amongst a guest panel of judges for a spot to perform at the 1st Annual Froribbean Festival which will take place on September 29th at Central Park.

Froribbean Festival celebrates the culture, art, and the people of Africa and the Caribbean islands.

The guest panel of judges included:
Kyron (Songwriter producer), Imani Ray (Soca Artist), Dreggae (Dancehall artist), Jay Tek (Assistant Program Director of Hot 107.9), and Solo (Program Director of Streetz 94.5). The event was hosted by DJ English and sounds by DJ Prince Charm. The Froribbean Festival celebrates the culture, art, and the people of Africa and the Caribbean islands.

Lastnight included live music, food, rum punch and drink specials, and DJ driven fun with island vibes and plenty of African influence. There were giveaways for tickets to the event on the 29th and a beautiful representation of people from Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Haiti, and South Africa. Make sure to go and support the 1st Annual Froribbean Festival on September 29th, 2018 at Central Park. TI Celebrates 15 Years of Trap Muzik

This week celebrates 15 years of trap music being mainstream. TI aka Tip is considered the father of Trap Music. He was the one to bring trap music to the mainstream. 21 Savage Gets The Kids Ready For New School Year

21 Savage Issa School Drive went down this past weekend in Decatur, Ga. It was his third year giving back to the community. He gave away over 1500 backbags to over 900 families. They really got the kids right for school. Free haircuts, hair styles, got the girls nails right, gave away shoes, school uniforms, not just the school supplies. [Events] The Celebrity Small Business Pop Up Shop

Over the past month we welcomed many summer events and celebrations. All of which encourage networking, socializing, and overall having a good time. These summertime shindigs often attract tastemakers, industry leaders, talent, as well as spectators alike. This past weekend, Rose Knows Media & PR presented the “Celebrity Small Business Pop Up Shop” powered by Tiffany Terrell Consulting. This event was held at The Blu’ Bisque in Atlanta, GA and attracted a crowd of movers and shakers in the industry.

The pop up also included a guest panel, fashion show, and live performances.The Celebrity Small Business Pop Up Shop allowed small business owners to showcase their goods as well as network. This event was free and open to the public and hosted by Maureen Guest, radio personality with WIGO1570.

The guest panel included Christina Johnson of VH1 Atlanta Exe’s and Casuel Pitts of UDS, Inc. who provided excellent insight on brand building, business structure, and integrity.

Amongst the movers and shakers were designers and models who graced the runway with summer fashion from VDINX (IG: @VDinxdesignsAtlanta), BeU Chique Boutique, and Van Miller International. 

Each designer showcased beautiful displays of beauty, color, sass, and culture, all while being captured by photographer Maurice Thompson. Be sure to follow them and their designs on social media and support these well deserved fashions.

Certainly, the night wouldn’t have been a success without the DJ: DJ Smitty. The sounds that set the tone for the evening belonged to a host of talents both local and transplant that included: Barz Damu, Dr. Sushi, Frank O’Shack, Juwan, Lady Rhaka, Mondo Malone, Mr. Jay Smiff, and Safari Tribe.
