Name: Jerry Miller

Hometown: Indianapolis, IN

Working to be a future media mogul, I have been taking great strides to see my dream become a reality. Currently, I am both an Entertainment Writer/Reporter with Scoop Media Group, which is the largest African-American publication in circulation in the city of Indianapolis, as well as a Blogger for Straight Official Magazine.

In doing double duty, I am quickly learning and honing my craft to become an established author. I have been a freelance writer off and on for five years. With Scoop, I conducted a monthly forum that was composed of the city’s most renowned Hip-Hop artists, DJ’s and producers where we discussed both Hip-Hop and R&B. I also provided independent artists with album and mixtape reviews.

I graduated from Harrison College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to assist in promotion for Indy’s Hip-Hop and R&B artists. Being a former artist myself back in the day, I understood the magnitude of having a major publication ask to interview me about my craft.

I have also had the privilege to sit down with some of the industry’s biggest names to capture their stories to share with you the readers. My overall goal is to further my brand (TenthLetterMedia) and be able to throw my respective hat into the media circle. TLM encompasses all facets of art and entertainment in both the physical and virtual realms. I live by a “pay it forward” mentality, and I am passionate about Hip-Hop and the evolving scene here in the Circle City.
