The Quest Chronicles: Thanksgiving Time

The Quest Chronicles: Thanksgiving Time It’s that time of the year to give special thanks! Time to spend time with family and friends while stuffing your face. This is a tradition for many people but not everyone. To some, it’s just another day and that’s ok. You have to live your life for you and if you end up spending today eating fast food and watching tv; more power to you.

As for others, Thanksgiving may be exceptionally difficult due to the passing of loved ones. Thanksgiving evokes a wide range of emotions for different people, and it’s important to acknowledge that not everyone celebrates the same way or feels the same during the holidays.

Your reminder to be kind and respectful to others, regardless of how they spend their day, is a beautiful way to foster understanding and empathy. Whether surrounded by family or alone, the spirit of gratitude and mindfulness can still shine through. Wishing you a peaceful and fulfilling holiday, no matter how you choose to spend it.

My style consists of use of double entendres, metaphors and being a storyteller.

Actually, it’s not a person but more of the challenge to do something different. It’s the opportunity of creating a new lane.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

Tell us about your creative process. What are some things you need in order to create?

Two things I need are a great production a studio with a vibe for creating and some of that “ooohweeee” (laughs)

Music isn’t a Sprint its a marathon because the more you take your time the more you learn this business.

SHIFTING GEARS

If it wasn’t for music, what would you be doing right now?

If not for music, I would probably focus mainly on my clothing line.

Who inspires you? Is there anyone you admire, be it an artist or a person?

I admire Ghostface Killah. He is one of my favorite artist because of his unique style and swag.

If given the opportunity to change one thing about the industry, what would it be and why?

The streaming policies for payouts. I would also get rid of all the gatekeepers. Let’s get back to quality music not copycat music.

IN CONCLUSION

You’re part of the Rebirth of Hip-Hop Vol.2 edition hosted by DJ P-Money. Tell us about this project and how this came together.

This project is the essence of Hip-Hop and culture! To be a part of this project is to be a part of the culture. This is where it all began and to not be a East Coast lyricist and still a part of this tape is very, very big for me. I’ve built a relationship over 16 years with P-Money to the point where it was inevitable for us to collaborate.
