[Fashion] “FALL” In Love With Color
Fall seems to signify waves of significant change. We change our wardrobe, our clocks and yep; we even change our relationship status…. you know… it is cuffing season!! LOL!! We begin to gravitate toward things that would give us instant gratification. Well I can think of one thing that you immediate change to not only warm you up but give you an image boost and make you feel good about yourself… Color your hair!!
Whether your natural or relaxed; wear extension or your own hair; black, white or anything in between changing your hair color can give you the new and instant change you need to jump start the new year while working on everything else you have resolved to do with your body, life and habits!! Lol.
Although cold weather has a tendency to make hair look dull and feel dry it does necessarily mean you have to go darker. But if you do, try colors that are chocolate browns, red browns and rich coppers. When going lighter try adding highlights or ombres of rich blondes, reds and copper to brighter hair instead of coloring the entire head. This will allow you to have the effects of full color with minimal stress.
Also trending is ombre hair with pastel and bright colors such as blues, purples, and yes, fuchsias. This trend may be for the young or young at heart generation (such as myself) but if done correctly can be worn tastefully and not perceived as rebel hair.
Now to get the best results I will always suggest that you consult a professional cosmetologist when it comes to coloring your hair, especially in any situation that requires going lighter or bleaching technique but if that doesn’t fit your budget you can to DIY (do it yourself) with any color rinse or permanent colors such as L’Oreal. But those result will not be guaranteed!! Proceed at your own risk!!
Either way, the best way to instaGLAM your life it to add color!! It worked with tv, with works with an all-black wardrobe and it’ll definitely work for you!! #ding!
