That’s right! It’s Time to Get Hip with DJ Mos Precious #RealMVP

After a very successful conference call with the Worldwide Fleet DJs, Drift has a song that will set the tone for all the music lovers around the world. From backpackers to school teachers this dope sound that Drift has will lead him to make markets that hip hop has been blocked from. If the project sounds anything like his leading single, “Street Runner”, then this album coming out in early 2017, King KoJo will break records and many charts.

It’s a honor to present an exclusive interview with Drift!

MP: Can you tell our readers a little about yourself? What’s your name and where are you from?

DRIFT: Peace! My name is DRIFT and I’m from East Orange, New Jersey by way of Ghana, West Africa

MP: Let us know what your social media is. How can we find you?

MP:How did music come about in your world?

DRIFT: I fell in love with Rap INSTANTLY as a little boy watching Video Music Box ( Rap video show ). I knew then I had to be a part of it.

MP: What do you find most challenging about the music industry? most complicated?

DRIFT: The most challenging part is having to win supporters over one by one. The journey has been a lengthy one

MP: What do you do when you aren’t  recording or rehearsing your music?

DRIFT: I draw portraits and I’m a licensed barber by day

MP: How do you keep coming up with dope music? Any inspirations?

DRIFT: My inspiration is my son. I just don’t want to disappoint that kid under any circumstances

MP: What has been the most challenging moment in your career and why?

DRIFT: When I kind of defeated myself on Freestyle Friday. I had several labels interested in me and when I lost they all vanished. I wanted to DIE lol

MP: Do you have anyone that has influenced you in your career? Who and Why?

DRIFT: Naughty by Nature influenced me the most. They’re from my neighborhood and reached the pinnacle of the Rap game. They made it very clear that it’s possible to be successful.

MP: Where do you see yourself in the next couple of years?

DRIFT: Prayerfully I’m well off financially and in a position to make other young artists dreams a reality

MP: Is the anyone you would like to give a shoutout to?

DRIFT: Shoutout to my son Kamal and the city of East Orange
