In September artist Kodak Black pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges, one for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and the other for possession of drug paraphernalia. Kodak has been serving a 120 day sentence at the St. Lucie County jail. kodak-black-press-photo-15-david-cabrera-150x150

Kodak (born Dieuson Octave) is named on the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s release report, having been cleared to go home Monday afternoon at 3:13 p.m. EST.

But wait there’s more…

That “freedom” was rather short-lived for the raper.  The Sun-Sentinel reports that “he has been transferred to the custody of South Carolina deputies to be extradited to that state to face a sex charge.” Kodak had an outstanding warrant for a sex charge in South Carolina—so now that he has served his original 120 day sentence, he will remain under custody in South Carolina where the investigation into sexually battery charges is underway.
