Roc Nation songstress Justine Skye has dropped her “8 Ounces” EP and it’s everything! Back in March the beauty signed to Roc Nation The nine track 28 minute  EP was written by The-Dream, and produced by Tricky Stewart, including a feature from Wale.   “The-Dream was like my diary,” she said to Genius. “I would sit there and talk his ear off about all my guy situations; he would just turn my stories into songs.” What a way to end 2016!

“Eight ounces is the average weight of the female heart,” Justine told Genius about the inspiration behind the EP’s title. “Now that I’m 21, I’m meeting different people from different parts of the world and I’m figuring out myself more and figuring out guys more. This whole EP is my diary of situations that I’ve gone through since my last project.”
