SO. What are your Names? where you’re from and what first got you interested in the entertainment industry?
OP. Seamus Murphy – Lead Vocals, Frankie Revis – Guitar, Ryan Funnell – Bass, Donny Mueller – Drums.

We’re from Passaic County NJ, West Milford and Pompton Lakes respectively. We all kind of got into it in our own way, but one thing that is in common with all of our backstories is that we all started from a young age. Frankie started out of love for The Beatles at around 5 and saw what he wanted to do from there. Donny was born into a family of musicians (i.e The Flying Mueller Brothers) and was practically playing before he was born. Ryan has been playing since he was in elementary, in ensemble bands, school band or anything he could do. Then there’s Seamus who wanted to be a singer/front-man of sorts since he was about 5, but first went into it through a musical theatre route

SO. Who and/or what inspires you to create?
OP. The music we individually get off on is what you could say inspires us on a song-to-song basis, but what drives us as a whole is the prospect of being just like our idols, in the same way we imagine they wanted to be like theirs.

SO. How would you describe your sound?
OP. Rock is obviously our core but we each bring our own style to the table, whether that be Funk, Rap, Blues, Grunge, etc.. it leaves us with the Nostalgically-Progressive sound we have.
SO. What is your creative process like?

OP. Most of the time, Frankie or Ryan come up with a riff who then show it to Seamus has who has a little book of song lyrics, with no music (or home) for yet. We put the song together this way, Seamus doing trial and error with lyrics, while Donny comes up with the beat quick enough it seems as if he’d heard the record already on a time travel visit. There are exceptions where Seamus will write the lyrics on the spot, but very seldom does that happen. Around then is when Ryan or Donny stops either Seamus or Frankie from becoming attached to a bad idea, while the other feels triumphant, having come out of the argument over said idea victorious, thanks to the backup. This is all done while hanging out smoking weed and drinking beer.

SO. What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with?
OP. In our wildest dreams, making a song with todays artists like Travis Scott or Uzi would be groundbreaking and a dream come true, and on the other hand working with or opening for the Chili Peppers or one of our fore fathers would be a dream come true for us as well.

SO. What is one message you would give to your supporters?

OP. Thank you so much for coming to the shows and helping spread our music, please stick around and watch the community grow. You are everything to us we love you.

SO. What is the most talent/skill you have that most people don’t know about?

OP. Seamus likes to cook, Ryan is a personal trainer, Frankie considers himself to be pretty good at downhill longboard sliding, and Donny couldn’t pick an answer, instead going back to a quote by John Bohnam –  “Drumming was the only thing I was ever good at”.
SO. What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music?
OP. Donny – Would be figuring out some way to be in the music industry other than as a player. Ryan – Personal Trainer. Frankie – No clue honestly. Seamus – Trying to be an actor probably, maybe teacher
SO. Who are some artists/people you admire and why?

OP. Frankie – John Frusciante, Steve Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Larry Lolande. Ryan – Les Claypool, Flea, Joe Dart. Donny – John Bohnam, Keith Moon, Buddy Rich. Seamus – Kanye West, Bob Dylan, Mac Miller, Chance the Rapper
SO. What is the best advice you’ve been given?
OP. Donny – “Party hard, practice harder.” Seamus – “Work twice as hard as everyone else and you’ll succeed” Frankie – “Stick to what makes you happy and be yourself” Ryan – “Less is more sometimes”
SO. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
OP. To make it easier for talent who lacks certain clout to be discovered and given an opportunity.
SO. What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year?
OP. In the next year we hope to have multiplied our current following many times over and be set to release our second album.

SO. What is your social media? How can people get in contact with you?

OP. Our instagram is @ordinarypeoplenj  Seamus is @seamusmurphy.op Frankie is @frankierevis Ryan is @ryanfunnellmusic.op and Donny is @donnymueller
