[Video] Kain- Armageddon, Why Not? – Get Hip W/DJ Mos Precious

 Callmekain.com

Kain is not a fresh face in the music scene. Hauling from Pantego, North Carolina, he is a socially driven hip hop mega star. His music does not reflect the music that is coming out today. Kain’s music is highly inspired by the 90’s and you can surely agree when you get a wiffle of his bars and style of flowing.

A young and bright fella, who has a purpose to ignite all his listeners with their own flames of success. He created Enoch Coalition LLC, and has huge plans in the works for his company.  I have personally met Kain and I am amazed with the energy that you can feel while in his presence. He is very mindful of the social influences that takes place in the day to day operations around the world.

I want to take this time to walk down memory lane with you guys to tell you how Kain and I met. It is only right to give you guys the scoop, right! He is a performer and I have watched him shut down stages on many occasions in the Midwest. He is surely a talented brother that you should support and keep in tune with.

Recently, he released his new song [Armageddon] from his schedule to drop on Friday, December 16th, 2016. Kain’s new EP titled [Black: A Story Told by Kain] is piece art blended with tones you can not live without. I am surely looking forward to what he has cooking on this project.

[INTERVIEW] P-Butta Got Flows?- Get Hip w/ DJ Mos Precious

Its Time to Get Hip with DJ Mos Precious #RealMVP

I want to express the first time I watched this talented brother rip the stage was in Bloomington IL a few months back and he surely was wild’n out! I am hard critic when it comes to music and I must say P-Butta didn’t hide any bread and butter when it gets on the stage! I am pleased and overwhelmed with excitement to bring P-Butta to you guys first! Originally born in Chicago Heights, but spread his wings, in Bloomington IL. He definitely needs your attention.

MP: Can you tell our readers a little about yourself? What’s your name and where are you from?

P-Butta: I was born Lionell Mahan. My stage name is P-Butta. It was given to me by one of my cousins. I was born in Chicago Heights and raised in Bloomington, IL.

MP: Let us know what your social media is. How can we find you.

MP: How did music come about in your world?

P-Butta: I started music from simply being a fan first. My momma used to get all the latest mixtapes from corner stores in Chicago, me listening to the radio and watching music videos. I would rap or sing the songs like they were my own. Until I decided I wanted to make music of my own.

MP: What do you find most challenging about the music industry? most complicated?

P-Butta: Breaking through is the most challenging. Trying to be heard out of the 1,000 plus odd artists that are already out. But once you get through its best on focusing on what works for you. The most complicated is that this game is fickle. There’s no honesty or loyalty in it. People try to get over on you, hassles over money and can turn your friends into enemies. I try my best to refrain from that.

MP: Tell me about some of the people you’ve met while performing? some of the people you wish to meet during your journey?

P-Butta: I’ve met a couple names doing shows. When I was 16 me and my homey Metane opened up for Bonecrusher. That was fun. Also young dro in st. louis at club rio. This is like 10 years ago by the way. I’ve opened up for and done a song with Mickey Factz, a New York native artist. That was about 2 years ago. Other than that, I’ve met artists at the right place right time type stuff.

MP: What do you do when you aren’t  recording or rehearsing your music?

P-Butta: I usually do other things. I direct and shoot videos. Some people know that some don’t. I brainstorm my next project or what Im working on at the time to try and organize my next step. Or I tend to go other events so I can see whats out there.

MP: How do you keep coming up with dope music? Any inspirations?

P-Butta: When I get a dope idea in my head i like it to be natural or unforced. I feel thats the best way. Its more organic that way. I usually get inspired by something when I don’t know anything about . If I heard a song by a band I wouldn’t normally listen to and i like it, its going to inspire me to get some music popping.

MP: What has been the most challenging moment in your career and why?

P-Butta: The most challenging point of my career is a constant battle from sacrificing all the love for my dream to rap. Whether it be the girl of my dreams, spending more time with my family, or losing constant money I could be saving in the process. Balancing my real life from rap life is the most difficult.

MP: Do you have anyone that has influenced you in your career? Who and Why?

P-Butta: My family and friends. I have famous rappers i look up to where I am influenced by their music but I’ve never met them. To those I have met, they’ve influenced me like crazy. I got a little brother and sister who influence me because they see I am progressing and take pride in it. They tell they’re friends about me and what I’m doing. Same thing with my nieces and nephews. That drives me more than anything because they are truly who I do it for at the end of the day.

MP: Where do you see yourself in the next couple of years?

P-Butta: All I want to do is get paid for what I love to do. I love making music, performing, shooting videos, etc. If i can do that and get paid for it, Im good. Keep all the fame, hoopla and all that other bull crap. I just want money, music and my family. “All I want is money fuck the fame Im a simple man.” Shout out to 2Pac

MP: Is the anyone you would like to give a shoutout to? (more…)
