According to TMZ,  YG filed a police report on Monday, claiming that someone took over $400K worth of jewels from his hotel room at The London in WeHo. The problem is that the theft allegedly happened almost a week ago.

Sources say between 11PM NYE and  11 AM New Year’s Day, a briefcase which was left on top of the safe in the room, had been relieved of several expensive pieces of jewelry. It was noticed by the rapper on January 1st but didn’t file the police report until January 6.

There are no suspects or leads in the case, especially since YG’s hotel room was a revolving door on New Year’s Eve. Detectives are reportedly looking into surveillance footage on the floor of YG’s room, which hopefully will lead them to some clues.

LaBodega: @Wale Says “I’m one of the greatest rappers” @DJGojabean

They say all publicity is good publicity.

Tuesday afternoon Aug. 6th Wale went to Twitter and inserted himself into the greatest-of-all-time debate.

With a couple of top 50 rappers lists going viral online, Wale felt it was time to assert his feelings as to where he belongs in rap’s totem pole.

“I’m one of the greatest rappers of all time. There I said it,” he said.

After paying $34.99 to get access to some in-flight WiFi, the DMV native continued: “Last album had one platinum and two gold singles …

I just don’t be talking my talk all the time cuz I got some things goin on in my head.. but what we not gon do is act like the hits haven’t been coming for ten years. Okurrrr.”

Wale reminded his followers of when Jay-Z included his name in the myriad of rappers that inspired him throughout his career back in 2017.

With all the chatter surrounding his name, the 34-year-old is headed toward the release of his sixth studio album at some point later this year.

Ebro Darden, co-host Peter Rosenberg and the Hot 97 morning show compiled a list of their top 50 rappers of all time, which has riled up Twitter users and seen thousands of angry replies.

Wale found a home on Ebro’s list, notching an appearance at No. 43, ahead of the likes of Kanye West, 50 Cent and Lupe Fiasco.
