1. Where are you from? (Born raised Chicago.


2. Who would you say inspired you the most, as an artist? (Helping others grow and becoming the best version of themselves by see me elevating and be an image/ role model to everyone that looks up to me.


3. Talk me through your creative process. (Always pray first and just let it flow like water and always talk Positive and elevate others. Elevation Music is what I say I create and healing music.


4. What tools do you find indispensable for accomplishing [task]? (Plot, plan, execute. Those are the three rules I go by.


5. How do you solve [common Problem – productivity, scheduling, marketing, networking, reducing overwhelm]? (Take it a day at a time and have a schedule and time to do things. Write everything down in notes or iPhone or notepad.


6. What’s the best advice you ever received? (Be your self and always be consistent and be light in whatever you do.


7. What would you have done differently if you knew then what you know now? (I wouldn’t change, I think I feel god puts people right where they are suppose to be at. Life is really a lesson and it has molds me into a chosen one and light in people lives.


8. What’s the coolest, most important show you’ve played to date (the kind of show you’d like to play more of)? (79 renaissance Festival which happens every year and it is a vibe. It’s for more of a family vibe and all ages can come. All good elevating music and vibes in the air.


9. What’s your latest release? (My Album BLESSED by me KING KC, Which is out now. It has 11 songs that all make you feel good and are motivational songs.


10. Who influenced you most throughout your career? (Really my family and team and also the supporters that I have gotten from doing music over time who show love. I have a lot of supporters that tell me my music helped them get through hard times. I would have never thought I could touch people with my music. However, being real always gets noticed. That’s why I tell people be yourself and keep showing love and always be light.


Bonus Question: What do you want your legacy to be? How do you want to be remembered? (King KC is an amazing artist that keeps his energy high and vibrant high as a person as well. He has helped others learn to be positive and be consistent and to have the most faith in themselves. God is amazing and I want to keep sharing that and helping people know that you can do anything with faith and putting your mind to it. We attract we don’t react.

Steven “Megastar” Ragsdale began his journey in Chicago’s Jeffrey Manor and Englewood neighborhoods. Like many from these areas, he witnessed both the harsh realities of street violence and crime, as well as the joy, resilience, and sense of community that define these vibrant parts of the city.

A multi-faceted talent, Megastar is not only an accomplished artist, but also the CEO of Loud Money Music Group with distribution through ROCNATION Distribution. He is the award-winning host of BOSS TALK on My Radio Chicago, the owner and operator of Loud Money Music Radio, powered by the Fleet Radio Network, and a respected Fleet DJ Host & Reporter. In addition, he is a published writer for both Fleet Magazine (@thefleetmag.com) and Straight Official Magazine, and an established radio personality, media professional, and event host.

Megastar is also the lead moderator of the globally recognized Fleet DJ Zoom calls, which have featured some of the industry’s top talent including DJ Khaled, Cardi B, MC Lyte, and Tisha Campbell. He serves as Director of Artist Relations for the Good Vibes Music Fest, which travels across the United States.

A gifted poet and communicator, Mega has a natural ability to connect with people and talent from all walks of life.
