SO. What are your Names? where you’re from and what first got you interested in the
entertainment industry?
E. We are called Elkapath, our names are:
Carla Elkapath
AJ Marios
Trevor England
Chris Horwood-Jones
2.Who and/or what inspires you to create?
We do get a lot of different inspirations. We are 4 people with 4 completely different
backgrounds, Carla who is the main lyricist/songwriter gets her inspiration from bands like the
Prodigy, Korn and the list goes on.

SO. How would you describe your sound?
E. Unique in many ways, We might have a label over our head as a gothic/industrial band but we
truly believe that in the album you can hear everything in a very dark mix, we believe this album
have something to say to pure classic metalheads, to Nu metalheads, black and the list can go
on, we didn’t let that label limit us.
At the end of the day we made an album that we are happy to play on repeat in the car while we
are traveling everywhere

SO. What is your creative process like?
E. Carla she is the main writer, we love her way of work… she once said “guys I need a break from
social media, don’t worry, I will be back in 10 days…” 10 days later she came back with the next
album!
The way she writing is in a simple electro dark theme, with midi guitars and drums, she makes a
song as it is in her head, then Trevor add his bass over the original, I do the guitaring Chris does
his drums and boom, the pure magic done, all it left from the original I the keyboard!
The hardest bit to that is to stick to the original idea which we always aim to

SO. What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with?
E. The list is massive, one of the artist we would love to collaborate is actually Bob Katsionis!
He is the man behind the production of the album and he is one of the most creative musicians
we have ever met!

SO. What is one message you would give to your supporters?
E. We wish we could meet each and every one of them, shake their hand and thank them!
Without them we wouldn’t ever be here and their support is the most appreciated!

SO. What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music?
E. We are far far away from making a living out of it, we are all have our jobs and some of us have
families and kids.
We all have our day jobs but our ultimate goal is to be able to make a living out of music one
day.

SO. Who are some artists/people you admire and why?
E. The list is massive!!
Mario’s favorite guitarist always been Randy Rhoads, but most of all he admires Steve Harris,
his leadership and his figure is second to none!
Apart from music one of our favorite artist is Salvador Dali! How can you not love and admire
such a persona?

SO. What is the best advice you’ve been given?
E. They say that life’s a carousel
Spinning fast, you’ve got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
it’s heaven and hell
how can this not be a value of life

SO. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
E. I would love the industry to be a lot more open to it’s newer member

SO. What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year?
E. Every year we have the same wish… a massive stage in a festival, day time and Elkapath to hit
the stage!
That’s our dream and that is where we would like to see our self’s in the next year but first of all,
work work work…sucks

SO. What is your social media? How can people get in contact with you?
E. Elkapath on the most social media and that is more or less a direct contact to the band!
