Meet Brezay: Memphis’ Multi‑Hyphenate Powerhouse Redefining Entertainment

Although, in a city known for birthing icons, Brezay stands out as a 22‑year‑old creative force shaping her own lane. Singer, songwriter, dancer, choreographer, and marketer. She embodies the new era of artists who do it all and do it well. However, with a sound eggrooted in R&B and hip‑hop, and a work ethic sharpened by years of training and performance. Brezay is quickly becoming one of Memphis’ brightest emerging stars.

Early Career: A Star in Motion

Brezay’s journey began at just 15, sneaking out of class to record music with her longtime friend and producer, JKidd. Even then, she knew she had something special but she also knew she needed time to grow. Also, it wasn’t until her freshman year of college that she stepped into the spotlight publicly, and the timing couldn’t have been better.
Her decision to wait paid off. College gave her a larger audience, new opportunities, and the space to sharpen her skills as a dancer. After all, her talent soon took her to major stages, including America’s Got Talent, and she even performed alongside viral dance sensations Ayo & Teo. For someone so young, Brezay was already moving like a seasoned entertainer.

Inspirations, Vision, and the Drive to Entertain

Influenced by performance legends like Chris Brown and Ciara, Brezay is committed to bringing back the era where artists didn’t just sing they performed. For her, entertainment is about legacy, impact, and the ability to leave audiences with something unforgettable.
That mission is clear in her latest single, “Buss It,” a track that introduces a new side of her artistry. Known for her cute, sexy, and smooth R&B vibe, Brezay wanted to show she can switch styles effortlessly. “Everyone has always seen the cute and sexy side of me. I want to show that I can do all styles and genres,” she says. And she’s proving it—her catalog already blends hip‑hop, pop, and R&B with ease.y

The Latest: Music, Movement, and a Brand on the Rise

Additionally , Brezay’s breakout moment came in 2020 with “Crazy Feeling,” a single that hit 2.2K views on YouTube and inspired youth across the country during the pandemic. The video doubled as a dance challenge, giving fans a chance to showcase their own talent and it highlighted Brezay’s natural charisma and undeniable swag.
Her marketing instincts shine just as brightly. With her clothing line, Brezerk Clothing, she’s building a brand that reflects her bold style and creative identity.
In 2021, she dropped her first EP, and the momentum only grew. Her track “What’s the Move” featuring Billboard‑charting artist Porcelan became her most‑streamed release, solidifying her place as an artist to watch.
Recently, Brezay hit the stage in Atlanta alongside Domani and BRS Kash, proving she can hold her own next to established names. And she’s not slowing down. With more singles on the way, she’s determined to make it clear: Brezay is here to stay.
