CHRISSY T is a multi-creative that hails from Columbus, Ohio. The vocalist, actress, songwriter and vocal producer focuses her craft around being authentic and reflective. Factors that include growth, self-discovery and transformation are what Chrissy uses to connect with her fans.
Christina Turner is more than just an artist. She is also a performing arts educator. With over two decades of theater experience, Chrissy has undertaken roles such as Mother Superior in Sister Act: The Musical. This role secured her a Best Drama Performance at the Kingdom Image Awards. Her role as Amelia in Ain’t Misbehavin’ at Trinity Theater Company netted her a Jebby Award for Best Lead Female in a musical.
Musical Style & Career
Chrissy T’s musical background is seasoned with versatility. Trained in in classical music and opera, she also spawned works that cross seamlessly into jazz, gospel, pop and soul. In addition, she currently performs with the Bluewater Kings, a corporate band that is revered for providing high energy live music.
In 2024, Chrissy released her debut album “Metamorphosis” to rave reviews. The six-track project features her debut single “Stuck in Limbo” which gained a #1 spot on Amazon Music’s Uk R&B Hot Releases chart. The album is an elegant blend of soul, R&B and pop while seasoned with love, inner strength and resilience.
