The Quest Chronicles: Celebration Time Recently I celebrated my birthday! Every year I treat it like a national holiday because it needs to be celebrated. To see another year is a blessing especially with everything that’s been happening in our society. Years ago, more of our elders were passing away. Nowadays, it’s anyone at any age. I celebrate life, I celebrate MY life. So many people wait for others to celebrate them and end up disappointment. That’s not fair to me so I make sure I take care of myself and my happiness.
I treat my birthday as MY new year. I wake up refreshed, I set new goals. I reminisce on all I accomplished and what I desire to accomplish next. I use my birthday as a new start and I encourage others to do the same. It great to celebrate, have a party, grab a drink with friends or whatever you desire to do. At the same time, take your moment, reflect on life, understand it’s short and remember to actually LIVE it.
