Steven “Megastar” Ragsdale began his journey in Chicago’s Jeffrey Manor and Englewood neighborhoods. Like many from these areas, he witnessed both the harsh realities of street violence and crime, as well as the joy, resilience, and sense of community that define these vibrant parts of the city.

A multi-faceted talent, Megastar is not only an accomplished artist, but also the CEO of Loud Money Music Group with distribution through ROCNATION Distribution. He is the award-winning host of BOSS TALK on My Radio Chicago, the owner and operator of Loud Money Music Radio, powered by the Fleet Radio Network, and a respected Fleet DJ Host & Reporter. In addition, he is a published writer for both Fleet Magazine (@thefleetmag.com) and Straight Official Magazine, and an established radio personality, media professional, and event host.

Megastar is also the lead moderator of the globally recognized Fleet DJ Zoom calls, which have featured some of the industry’s top talent including DJ Khaled, Cardi B, MC Lyte, and Tisha Campbell. He serves as Director of Artist Relations for the Good Vibes Music Fest, which travels across the United States.

A gifted poet and communicator, Mega has a natural ability to connect with people and talent from all walks of life. He not only nurtures rising stars under the Loud Money brand but also continues to create music himself. His discography includes two full-length albums, Food for Less and Empathy, along with numerous mixtapes and guest appearances.
