THE ARTIST WE HAVE TODAY IS PROJECT RENEGADE
YOU CAN CHECK OUT OUR CONVERSATION DOWN BELOW

SO. What are your Names? where you’re from and what first got you interested in the
entertainment industry?
PR. We are Project Renegade and we are from Athens Greece. My name is Ody and I play drums,
Marianna is on vocals, Philip on guitar and Jay is on bass. Our love for music has always been
our main focus in life in general and that’s why we were all in bands since we were
teenagers. Also, the camaraderie and friendship you create with your bandmates is
something unique and something I think we always searched for. You know, sharing your
passion with other people and striving for something to achieve together is not very easy to
find in life.

SO. Who and/or what inspires you to create?
PR. We get inspired by real life events and real life people, we don’t do myths and folklore
because for us speaking truth to power and trying to help change this world for the better –
like every other person does when he wakes up and goes to work to feed his family and
survive in general – is personally a more raw and powerful message than any storytelling
form of art can be.

SO. How would you describe your sound?
PR. It’s a big pallet of different colors, sounds and messages that come together and unite as
one to become this ball of sensory attack that we call Project Renegade. It’s controlled
chaos, it’s open minded…I think honest and real is the two words that best describe it.

SO. What is your creative process like?
PR. Usually I start with drums bass and guitar, you know get the “metal” part of the music down.
Then Marianna and me do the programming and then Marianna does the orchestras and the
Vocals/Lyrics. Creatively we have hobbies that inspire us to do music like reading, traveling,
conversing…being open to all the stimuli that life brings upon you is how we begin to think
about music, we are becoming open vessels and we try to be very sensitive when we get in
that state of mind because we want to express what we want to express with 100%
honesty…It’s not a fun process most of the time but it makes great art which in our opinion is
always bigger than us!

SO. What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with?
PR. I’d like to see us collaborating with a lot of artists that we admire and we think are unique in
what they do. I’d say right now top of the list in no particular order are Jonathan Davis,
Maria Brink, Scarlxrd, Ghostmane, Amy Lee, Devin Townsend, Howard Jones and Mike
Patton to name a few.

SO. What is one message you would give to your supporters?
PR. Never stop trying to achieve the things you dream of. What we need right now is people who
are aware and in touch with themselves, their beliefs…People who are well educated are not
easily gullible by a systematic brainwash and a continuous propaganda that’s been going on
in the social media and in the entertainment industry for years. If you think that you should
be in whatever level you think it’s appropriate for you never stop trying to reach that level,
even the sheer trial makes you better and helps the ones around you too. So don’t ever
downplay yourself and be nice and help one another. These are difficult times and we need
each other whether you like to admit it or not.

SO. What is the most talent/skill you have that most people don’t know about?
PR. I have a vast array of different voices that I turn into characters and I get super weird and
make them have dialogues with each other when I’m bored or when I do computer work.
Marianna is a great impressionist, especially of other singers, her Britney Spears and Celine
Dion are amazing!

SO. What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music?
PR. I’d probably do my other job which is a special education teacher!

SO. Who are some artists/people you admire and why?
PR. Probably early 90’s and 00’s metal music is the common answer for all of us, bands like Limp
Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, Lacuna Coil were so different than what was going on at the time. I
think we all gravitated towards that new sound that was going on at the time. But we also
love Icepeak, In this moment, Hacktivist, Architects, Halestorm, Ghostmane, Travis Scott,
Behemoth, Blink 182…We’re a little bit crazy when it comes to musical influences.
We admire people that carved their own path and laid their own mark on the industry. We
can relate to that… it doesn’t matter what kind of music you play as long as it’s good and
unique!

SO. What is the best advice you’ve been given?
PR. “Fuck ‘em all” by my sister!

SO. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
PR. I’d stop illegal downloading and yes I would stop mp3s and music being on the internet in
general. There is magic into printing a CD or a vinyl and buying the whole package and
spending time with it. You create a relationship with it and as opportunistic as that may
sound when you buy a package of any sorts you value and appreciate it more…Yeah man
fuck digital, digital sucks! And it’s making people devalue music because they take it for
granted!

SO. What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year?
PR. We’ve got some plans that we can’t announce yet but if all goes well – especially in these
strange times – I’d like to see us out on the road supporting our new and previous record
whilst playing to as many people as possible.

SO. What is your social media? How can people get in contact with you?
PR. All social media platforms and whoever wants to drop a line be damn sure we are
going to answer, Facebook Instagram Twitter…..We are on all of them and we can’t wait to
hear from you!
