Event Coverage: DoeLeeWu Listening Party in NYC

Harlem natives and talented MCs D. Cash and Rich Relly have putting words together as a team since their teenage years.  Inspired by their fallen comrades whose legacies they carry with them on their journey these two popular rising independent artists are part of a resurgence of reality rap centered on the East Coast.   Respected in and out of music, these two have big plans to live up to lofty comparisons to 2 legends, Jadakiss and Styles. As two of my favorites of all time, it was only right for me to stop by The Venue (2284 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd) to check out some exclusives off of their latest project. [MIXTAPE] ASAP Ferg Releasing New Mixtape “Still Striving”

To help him in the studio, the New York rapper enlisted the talents of Migos, Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, French Montana, Busta Rhymes, Dave East, and Meek Mill. Fellow ASAP Mob member ASAP Rocky guests on two songs, the aforementioned “East Coast” reworking and “Mattress” remix.

Along with Still Striving, Ferg is releasing a new mixtape with ASAP Mob called Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy on August 24th. He’ll also be hitting the road with the hip-hop collective beginning in September.
