Real Energy: The Rise of Armando King

Armando King

In a world where authenticity is rare and real growth even rarer, Armando King stands tall — not just as a name, but as a movement. Raised as a preacher’s kid on the Eastside of Detroit, King’s story doesn’t shy away from the pain — it leans into it and turns it into power.

A LIFE ALTERED BUT NOT DEFERRED

At 19, while in his third semester at Ferris State University, King’s path took a detour. He was sentenced to 17 years in prison for armed robbery — a number that would break many. But instead, it made him.

Now free and fiercely focused, Armando King has rebuilt himself from the ground up — not just for him, but for the youth, the culture, and the future.

I invite life’s challenges with open arms and a positive mindset. Every obstacle became part of my foundation.
