Straight official sits down with S.DENIRO

  1. What is your Name? where you’re from and what first got you interested in the
    entertainment industry?
I go by S. Deniro! I’m from The Bronx, NY. The entertainment industry was first glamorized to me by Michael Jackson, but once i became more in-tune with the Hip Hop culture it gravitated me even more.
  2. Who and/or what inspires you to create? Well again, Michael Jackson’s work is what definitely inspired me, but once i heard people like Wu-tang, Mobb Deep, Onyx, Naughty By Nature, and The Lox, thats all i wanted to hear.
  3. How would you describe your sound? Well most say i have that giddy east coast New York style, but I’d say my style is made from a variety of styles. I like to stay outside of the box. So at any given day i can give you giddy, catchy, mellow, party, and even something for the ladies. But all in all for the most part my style is high-octane
  4. What is your creative process like? For me it doesn’t really take much. I definitely have to be in the ambience of art. However, once i hear a beat that i like the lyrics just seem to jump on the paper themselves. But all in all id rather be alone in the studio or a less crowded room so to speak.
  5. What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with? Right now, i’m looking to record with Jadakiss, Dave East, Fabolous, and Lil Wayne.
  6. What is one message you would give to your supporters? My number one message to my supporters is never stop where your started. Keep in moving to your destination. But most of all Thank You!
  7. What is the most talent/skill you have that most people don’t know about? Basketball. I was captain and MVP of the my High School team. It was actually my first love. I played for many teams and in many tournaments throughout the city. Actually, when i came home from one of the many times i was locked up back in 2008, i immediately signed up for college and went to try out for the NBA D-League. Dropped out of college after a year and made the first kut but didnt make the team.
  8. What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music? Probably looking for a 9-5 or running the streets for make ends meet.
  9. Who are some artists/people you admire and why? Styles P, 50 cent, Jay-z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West. Styles P because of his impeccable lyricism and respectable code of ethics that i can sourly identify. 50 is just ruthless man (lol) in both his work ethic and his persona and that too is something I can identify with as well. Jay-Z’s entrepreneurship is just out of this world and i would want nothing more to be just as successful as he is. Lil Wayne has got to be one of the most witty lyricists in the game and just seems to have no limits in his creativity. Same for Kanye, but i like the most about Kanye is that along with having no limits to his creativity hea also has no limits to how far he will go to stand his ground. Plus he’s the first rapper and beat producer ever or at least of my time.
  10. What is the best advice you’ve been given? “Love yourself, be yourself”
  11. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be? I would change the misconception that of a artist being idolized because of their assists, how good they look, or how much money he/she spends, rather than their actual art form, personality, and achievements because of it.
  12. What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year? Right now Im pushing this single with me and “The Ghost” Styles P called “Straight Like That” produced by Vinny Idol, which is out now in all stores and platforms. Also can catch the video on my youtube channel. You can definitely expect more music and visuals coming from me. As well as the coming of my solely owned and indepenent label, “MFI Music & Entertainment Group”
  13. What is your social media? How can people get in contact with you? On social media you can follow me on Twitter, @SDeniroMenace. On Instagram @S.Deniro. And make sure you follow my label @MFI.MusicandEntertainment. For any business inquiries you can email
